General Booking Conditions

Dear Guest, we are pleased that you would like to book this rental property. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully – they are part of the rental agreement between the Owner and yourself.


1) Binding Contract
The rental agreement is finalizedupon receipt of the booking confirmation and issuance of an invoice by the Owner.


2) Cancellation Policy
Should you cancel the booking for any reason, the refund policy is as follows:

30 days before arrival: 0 %
According to this, the general principle of 90% applies.
Additionally, a processing fee of 25.00 Euro will be charged in all cases of cancellation and will be deducted from any refund. We therefore encourage purchasing travel insurance.
The Owner may waive these cancellation fees in whole or in part if a replacement is found for the booked travel period or if an adequate booking is made at a later date, depending on the availability of the rental property.


3) Prices / Services
Inclusive in the rental fee is heating, electricity, water and linens (towels, tea towels, bedding) as well as basic kitchen equipment. The Owner ensures a room temperature of at least 20 degrees Celsius.
A final cleaning fee, shown in the booking confirmation, will be charged. There may be additional costs on site (e.g. visitor’s tax), please inquire with the Owner.
The rental property is designated as a non-smoking apartment and pets are not allowed. In the event of violations of the house rules, such as smoking or unauthorized pets, a higher cleaning or repair cost will be charged. Further, you will be liable for any damage to the rental property and its contents caused by willful or grossly negligent actions.
The costs to be paid by the guest is based on the costs incurred by the Owner. We therefore recommend that guests take out private liability insurance.


4) Payment
After reception of the booking confirmation, a deposit of 20% is due within 10 days, the balance is due no later than 14 days before arrival. If the booking is made 14 days or less prior to arrival, the full price is due immediatley.
(Please discuss possible exceptions to this policy for longer-term bookings directly with the Owner .)
All Payments (deposit/final payment) are made directly to the Owner. You will receive payment instructions upon confirmation of the booking. In the event of any discrepancies, proof of payment may be required upon arrival.


5) Liability
The Owner is liable for the provision of the booked services themselves and any deficiencies.


6) Complaints
Insofar as complaints arise with regard to the booked service, the guest must immediately contact the Owner or the service provider commissioned by Owner so that the issue can be adequately resolved.


7) Jurisdiction
All rights under this contract will be determined by the local law of the Owner.
